5. What kind of hotels will I find on Vacationist?
All luxury hotels, all of the time. Unique boutique hotels, too. At Vacationist we pride ourselves on connecting you with the most amazing deals at the world's top hotels and resorts. A Vacationist always travels in high-style, after all.
6. Why Vacationist?
A true Vacationist never settles for anything less than the best when it comes to travel. Convenience definitely counts also, as luxury travel should always be hassle-free.
Built from a partnership between Luxury Link and Travel + Leisure, Vacationist ups the quality and reduces the hassle of getting you to where you want to be. How? The world's leading luxury travel website meets the expertise and esteem of one of the world's top travel publications. That's right. The best of two worlds lies at your fingertips. All hotels are reviewed by Travel + Leisure writers, the industry's most reliable sources. While on assignment, they travel incognito whenever possible and do not take press trips or accept free travel of any kind.
7. How long do sales usually last?
Vacationist's exclusive inventory is limited, and booking occurs on a first come, first served basis. The buying period usually lasts seven to fourteen days, so log on early to secure the dates you want.
8. What is included when I book a hotel on Vacationist?
Vacationist provides you with exceptional offers on hotel night bookings. This means you are guaranteed chic sleeping accommodations at the luxe hotel you have chosen, for the amount of time you elect. If there are other inclusions or additional taxes and fees, we will be sure to let you know.
9. What do I need when checking in at the hotel?
All you need to bring is your Vacationist confirmation receipt, which you will receive in an email.
10. How does payment work at Vacationist?
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover. As standard practice, we use SSL to transmit your credit card information. We then take security precautions a step further by storing only encrypted data, meaning you are always safe when using your credit card on Vacationist.
11. What is your cancellation policy?
There's a reason Vacationist can connect you with offers that are too good to be public - we work hard to get them. In order to maintain sky-high levels of quality while keeping our prices too good to pass up, we do NOT allow cancellations of any kind. Changes may be allowed at the hotel's discretion.
