Santa Ynez Inn
Santa Ynez, California
Why Stay At Santa Ynez Inn
Explore the small-batch wineries of California's central coast from this gracious inn, accented by Tiffany lamps and four-poster beds.
Undiscovered Santa Ynez Valley, just 35 miles northwest from Santa Barbara, is a picturesque area known for its small-batch wineries and backcountry horseback riding trails. Among the oak trees, there's the Victorian-style Santa Ynez Inn, where 20 spacious rooms have four-poster beds, Tiffany lamps, and either a balcony or a patio that looks onto the inn's flower-filled grounds. Complimentary breakfast is an indulgent affair: travelers choose between lemon-ricotta pancakes and eggs Benedict before heading out on country roads for a wine tour, a round of golf, or a stop at the nearby 19th-century mission. After a day on your feet, you'll want one of the eight rooms with a whirlpool bathtub and steam shower; for those without, there are two spa treatment rooms.
The inn's concierge will arrange custom wine tours; add a driver for an extra $75 per hour.
Santa Ynez is the perfect spot from which to visit to famous locations from the film Sideways, including Buellton and Los Olivos.
Arrive at Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) which is approximately 32 miles from the Inn. Anticipate about 45 minutes of travel time. You may also opt to arrive at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) which is about 130 miles (2.5 hours) away.3627 Sagunto St, Santa Ynez, California, United States
